In a recent interview with CBS radio, former Ravens and Jets LB Bart Scott took a shot at Tom Brady by saying questioning his toughness and repeatedly calling him a "cornball." All in all, it was hilarious interview even if you are the biggest Patriots fan out there. He cites Brady's "superhero chin" and countless missed high fives from teammates as reasons why Brady is not a one of the big, bad tough guys.

It is good to know that when Tom Terrific isn't renting out space in between Terrell Suggs' ears, he is also renting out an apartment in between the ears of Bart. Anybody who actually takes these comments by Scott seriously is the real cornball, but I would like to find out who else is a cornball by Scott's definition.
Patriots Owner Robert Kraft
Anyone with a brain knows that if you bring Marky Mark into your luxury suite and he still doesn't slap five with you, you are a total cornball.
Superman
Superman, like Brady, has a very distinct dimpled chin. It is a tell-tale sign for being a cornball. Guess what Superman? I don't care that you life buildings. You are a giant cornball.
Brian Scalabrine
15-time All Star and future Hall of Famer Brian Scalabrine even has some trouble slapping skin with his teammates. All of those highlight reel plays can't deny the fact that you are a cornball, Brian.

So what does this all mean? Tom Brady, Robert Kraft, Superman, and Brian Scalabrine are all American icons, but that can't disguise their inner-cornball mystique. These four could very well form their own Mount Rushmore of greatness, so maybe Scott was really complimenting Brady? If that's the case, don't be afraid to dodge any high five attempts from me in the future. I want to be apart of the Cornball Elite. I may not have a superhero chin, but I can mess up a high five with the best of 'em.
